In this autobiographic comic by Daisy Ruiz, we follow Gordita a young Mexican American teenager who lives in the Bronx. She is judged for having no butt by classmates, strangers, and even family. Gordita struggles with low self esteem and body dysmorphia. This rich story is coming to SVA, Join Us!

This Friday from 3:00 to 6:00pm, SVA Library West will host a reception for the opening of the exhibition “Make Way,” which will be on display from March 29 through May 6. The exhibition was organized by SVA’s Women Supporting Women Club and features powerful artworks created by SVA artists.
